A fire in a supermarket that was so fierce the building was rocked by an explosion left the premises devastated, full of damaged products and covered in soot.

A SafeGroup fire clean-up team was mobilised to remove and dispose of the fire waste and clean the inside of the building.

Two days of hard work followed, during which thousands of damaged food and consumer items were removed from the building. SafeGroup fire waste removal teams also took away shelving, refrigerators and fixtures. We then cleaned the concrete shell of the building, removing potentially hazardous smoke particles and clearing odours, leaving a building ready to be refitted once again.
