SafeGroup is at the forefront assisting customers with the fight against COVID 19, and is responsible for looking after our people and our clients – reacting quickly and responsibly to the changing environment once government advice has been issued.
Even though infection numbers currently remain high in many areas, we will endeavour to maintain a ‘business as usual’ mantra, despite the unusual circumstances that we find ourselves in. We look forward to being able to support sectors of the economy as they emerge from lockdown restrictions.
The specialist cleaning services that SafeGroup provides have been identified as essential services, and throughout the pandemic we have remained open to supply our customers throughout the UK with support. From the many public sector transport providers, to the NHS, construction sites and emergency services, we have maintained the decontamination cleaning and waste disposal services required.
SafeGroup has delivered thousands of site-based services every day of the week, for the safety of our people we are encouraging customers to contact us via email and phone, attaching any site photos where possible, to enable us to arrive on site well equipped to get the job done. When the key worker teams arrive on site, we still respectfully request that they are provided with sufficient space, following the 2m guidance and where possible, windows are open to provide additional ventilation in order to enable them to complete their tasks safely.
Whilst on your sites, our Operatives will continue to wear face coverings or other respiratory protection as appropriate to the tasks that they are undertaking. In addition to face coverings, our Operatives will also make use of single use disposable gloves and hand sanitiser/handwashing where appropriate.
We are sure that you will understand that we will be unable to visit any properties where any residents are undergoing a period of self-isolation. Visits will be rebooked for once the period of self-isolation is completed.
We will continually monitor the COVID-19 advice given by the UK government, and we will respond and update accordingly.
We are committed to delivering the many services we provide, working together as one team. Thank you for working with us as we do our utmost to support you during these challenging times.
