Leading national specialist cleaning, decontamination and waste services provider SafeGroup has maintained its Gold Membership of Constructionline.
Meeting the requirements of gold membership gives service buyers greater assurance that SafeGroup services achieve the high operational, financial and safety standards they need.
Constructionline, originally set up by the government, is the largest pre-qualification procurement scheme in the UK.
SafeGroup delivers a broad range of specialist cleaning and waste services, including fire and sewage cleaning, smoke damage cleaning, hazardous waste removal and food waste collection.
It is also one of the UK’s leading COVID-19 disinfection specialists, providing planned and reactive support for organisations across the UK, including public transport providers, schools, manufacturers, retailers, and COVID-19 testing centres.
Adam Wilkinson, SafeGroup’s Health, Safety and Compliance Manager, said: “Becoming a Gold Constructionline member gives the businesses we work with greater assurance of the quality of our services.
“It gives them a higher level of trust that we will deliver services safely, efficiently, and effectively, and that we are worthy of being a long-term partner in supporting their operations.”
Gold Constructionline members must undergo more detailed validation checks with an enhanced prequalification questionnaire which goes beyond PAS (Publicly Available Specification) 91.
It also confirms SafeGroup’s services meet the Common Assessment Standard, a procurement prequalification process that makes it easier for buyers to assess supplier credentials.
SafeGroup’s performance on environmental management, quality management, equal opportunities, modern slavery act adherence and anti-bribery and corruption were assessed as part of the gold membership process.
Other accreditations held by SafeGroup include SafeContractor, CHAS, SMAS Worksafe, Altius, and Acclaim. SafeGroup is also a member of the Cleaning and Support Services Association, the British Damage Management Association, and the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management.
