The Challenge: Structural Carbon Contamination in Exposed Architectural Elements
Major fire incidents across London and underground facilities presented significant restoration challenges for high-traffic and structural sites:
- Deep Soot Ingress: Following a major fire in London, soot damage heavily contaminated external exposed brickwork, requiring more than standard pressure washing.
- Subterranean Contamination: A fire originating in a skip within an underground car park caused widespread carbon deposits across structural surfaces.
- Complex Surface Layers: In certain archway locations, fires damaged previously painted brickwork, necessitating the complete removal of both fire damage and legacy paint layers to restore the building’s original aesthetic.
- Overhead Structural Cleaning: Exposed concrete ceilings required specialised cleaning to remove fire damage without compromising the structural integrity of the material.
Our Response: Precision Blast Cleaning & Multi-Surface Decontamination
