The RP+ protection system delivered by CleanSafe Services is allowing customers to make major savings on the cost of managing their resilient floors.

CleanSafe Services is contracted to work with a wide range of blue-chip companies, including Sainsbury’s, Network Rail, and Mitchells and Butlers to clean, seal and apply anti-slip coatings to floors.
Resilient floors are manufactured with a thin protective surface seal, which prevents dirt ingress and provides anti-slip properties. However, this seal can wear quickly. Conventionally, this leads to the floors being replaced, on average, every seven years.
By using CleanSafe RP+, property managers can break this costly cycle, and deliver anti-slip protection with a 1 in 1,000,000 or less risk of a slip incident.
Over a 30-year life cycle, by protecting a floor with RP+ rather than replacing it regularly, savings of £20,000 per 250m2 of flooring can be achieved. That is equivalent to a 25% lifetime cost saving.
With CleanSafe RP+, there are also options to recolour existing floors, to ensure they can be kept up to date with an organisation’s brand identity.
