CleanSafe Services has carried out a programme of structure cleaning at a chemical plant as part of its owner’s plan to improve production facilities.

A team of four operatives from the UK’s leaders in extreme cleaning spent two weeks at the powder coating processing plant, cleaning walls, steel structures and floors.

The structure cleaning project was a first step in a plan to install new lifting equipment at the chemical factory in the North West of England.

CleanSafe Services Business Development Manager Elaine Curran said: “The production area had to be thoroughly cleaned before contractors could be brought in to install the new lifting equipment.

“As such, this structure cleaning project that had to be completed to a high standard in a set timeframe, which is precisely what we achieved.”

CleanSafe Services operatives wore protective suits and full-face masks and respirators to ensure no one in the team breathed in residual powders disturbed during the cleaning programme.

The company has experience working in wide range of production environments, including food factories, heavy industrial plants, and high tech electronics factories, each of which present different extreme cleaning challenges.

CleanSafe operatives are trained and qualified to carry out specialist cleaning tasks in production facilities that use potentially hazardous materials and processes.

Elaine Curran said: “We work closely with our commercial and industrial cleaning clients to ensure we deliver precisely the results they need, while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.

“We are also often able to provide expert advice that allows clients to optimise their in-house cleaning and maintenance programmes, which result in greater operational efficiency, and reduced business risks.”
