SafeGroup is now looking to recruit a Business Development Manager who is based in the Midlands. The business is entering a period of exciting growth and our unique product offering means we are a market leader in deep cleaning, decontamination services in the UK. You will be tasked to deliver new business in targeted sectors incorporating all the of services with particular attention to the core activity.

About the Role:

  • Develop new business opportunities with clients for our core business services
  • Proactively contact companies in the region and generate sales opportunities
  • Work with the Sales Director to identify key sectors and customers to generate growth
  • Account manage clients and generate new opportunities for other SafeGroup services
  • Produce quotes based on agreed tariffs and ensure margins align to commercial models
  • Ensure all sales information is accurately captured on the Job Watch CRM system
  • Produce monthly sales activity reports including revenue and gross margin projections
  • Develop working relationships with internal stakeholders e.g. Operations and Finance
  • Coordinate mobilisation meetings for new business with internal stakeholders
  • Provide full visibility of the sales pipeline highlighting conversion probabilities
  • Implement improvements in the sales process to drive better revenue outcomes

About You

  • B2B sales experience in the cleaning and facilities management sectors
  • Really focussed on making a difference and delivering top sales numbers for the region
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills with clients at all levels
  • Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficient IT skills in CRM tools and ability to interrogate and present sales data
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth in a business
  • Good commercial awareness around pricing to deliver the required gross/net margins
  • Ability to establish and maintain excellent customer relationships
  • Can develop effective working relationships across all levels of management and staff
  • Highly customer focussed and always looking to deliver a high quality of service for clients
